We had our "fluff" day at Barn Loft today and, well, we are just bursting with excitement!  The space is exactly as we imagined...it's amazing how quickly it transformed from project space to showroom!

Moving big pieces in...

Hi Everyone!

As we approach our 1st Open House on June 30th, we are pushing ourselves to have it look the best it can. Today we moved in an antique armoire...

Thank goodness it came apart in pieces, it was so much easier to move.

 Then we had to put it together like a big puzzle.

It needs a bit of shimming due to it being so old (we think @1860) and the mill floor being, well an old mill floor. I love the chippy worn white paint on it and all the details. It's such a great huge piece!

Sneak preview...

Our space at the Lake Street Mills is finally coming together!  Can you see it?  The first glimpse of Barn Loft?  What has been in our hearts and minds for so very long is now coming to life at 55 Lake Street! 

Invitations for our first Open House will be going out soon, and you are on the list!  Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 30th, from 10 to 4.  Spread the word.  Bring a friend...or two!  We will have postcards announcing our event schedule for the rest of 2012 at the Open House, so be there and be the first to find out what we are planning for the coming months.

Over the next few weeks leading up to our Open House, we will be talking more about our concept of "The Soft Side of Industrial."  We will be highlighting some of our favorite finds, and sharing small glimpses of how we soften these hard/rustic/industrial pieces with a combination of paint, paper, fabric, and items from nature.

Open House Planned For June 30!

We're still plugging away at projects to get our new space ready for...you!  We will be hosting our first Open House at the Lake Street Mills, Nashua, NH, on Saturday, June 30th!  We can't wait to share the space with you...it will be stunning!  Here are a few recent pics of our projects...

Still Working

We've been busy transforming our new space and everything in it...

Blank Canvas

Do you see what we see?  A blank canvas?  An empty room?  We see a showroom...workspace... gathering place...a brand new adventure!  This is the home of Barn Loft, in the Lake Street Mills in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The space didn't stay empty long...we're already filling the space with rustic, industrial, beautiful "stuff."  Wait til you see how we transform this space and everything in it!
